I smell a cover-up.
That's just the odor of the Midwest.

It does look hard.
Owosso? Yeah, that checks. I know a gay former coworker from there who left for WMU as soon as he turned 18, then moved to Chicago for work after graduation, and now lives in Scottsdale.

I was driving in NoVa this morning with Dr. Mrs., and as we approached a left we had a vehicle approaching us with his right blinker on, so we waited. We all have an intuitive feeling for highway conditions and how long it should take in that situation for the vehicle to approach, make the turn, and then clear the intersection so we can go.
Suffice that in this situation, it took longer. So much longer my wife put up what she was doing and commented. So long that even after we had noticed, and were both watching, it took longer. And it was evident that as he approached the turn he kept slowing down. He never hit the brake lights or gave the "hunting" indication of somebody lost and unsure of his turn. He was gliding confidently into his turn, but unimaginably slowly.
So, okay, as he turned and I looked into the cab I was assuming somebody elderly, but no -- it was a stout, early middle aged healthy human male. He looked right at me, and then continued his aircraft carrier maneuver and finally, I'd say at least 10 full seconds after what I would initially have felt warranted, he continued on his way at a normal speed. His license plate was unfamiliar so I sped up a little, and now this anecdote is my complete impression of all drivers from this state, perhaps forever.
