Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition
Since it looks like the Tigers might get "bombed" again today, I thought I'd post this article: Ten players the Tigers should call up in September, to see what you all thought of these players. What should the Tigers start doing to get ready for next season?
Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition
If they're interested in putting in any sort of effort, then sure, they're better than what is up right now. I don't see many guys on that list that are long-term major leaguers though outside of Moya and maybe Machado though.

Hopefully Ryan and Lobstein can contribute somehow to the back half of next year's rotation. Maybe Valdez can be a piece of the bullpen next year. We're going to need Fulmer sooner rather than later. Bernard's not ready for any of this quite yet. Holaday, Krol & Marte are cannon fodder, and that's all they're ever going to be.
Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition
I hope Miggy didn't tweak his calf there. He's the only reason worth watching the rest of this season, along with Verlander trying to win to stop a 10 game losing streak every other week.
Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition
That was NOT a good effort on Gordon's part to get to that double by Collins. If one of our boys had done that, he'd be tarred and feathered by the time he got back to the dugout.
Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition
My favorite part of playing KC is Rod Allen makes it a game to say Rusty Kuntz as many times as he can throughout the series. I believe we're already at 3 tonight.

Never gotten those from LC, just the pizza and crazy bread. Although the crazy bread is always a disappointment. If I wanted more bread I would've gotten another pizza so I could have something with actual flavor.

And a line drive goes off our defensive substitution's glove. You can't blame anybody there. It wasn't a bad pitch. He hit that **** thing off of his shoetops.
