Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

BTW Don Orsillo, one of the long time Red Sox broadcasters will retire at the end of this year.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Unless they really just don't want Cabrera messing around running the bases, I can't understand the logic of VMart batting clean-up.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Miggy's up to .371 now. I'd be mighty tempted to hit him 2nd.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

What kills me is the reason for doing it is because Ausmus doesn't want two right-handed bats in a row. Nevermind the fact that JD is hitting .297 against righties while Victor is hitting .217 against righties. It's doing dumb **** because he thinks that's what a manager is supposed to do, rather than putting any sort of thought into it.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

It's not going to matter. With tonight's loss, the Tigers are tied for last in the Central. Dartmouth Brad is getting fired in early October.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

So how many more losses do the Tigers need to be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs??

Hasa Diga Eebowai.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

The Cubs are 13-2 in their last fifteen home games. The Tigers are responsible for both those losses.

The Cubs are 20-5 over the last 25 games. The Tigers are responsible for two of those five.

This team can sweep the hottest team in baseball, but has just one non-two game series win since the week before the All-Star break.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Al Avila on Russo just now, when asked about our esteemed manager, used the phrase "re-evaluate at the end of the season" repeatedly. You can infer from here as you wish.

He's not exactly complimenting his son as we speak.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Angels in big trouble. they used virtually the entire bull pen last night and now they will have to put in somebody. Santiago is gassed and it's still the fifth.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

A double to a ****ing .184 hitter to bust up the no-no. **** me.

5-0 final.

Verlander gonna Verlander

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I'm not really a fan of gibson, I'll take Rod Allen. I'm surprised at how good the Toronto closer was.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Now Ausmus thinks Victor's problems are because his knee hasn't been healthy all season. Okay, fine. No problem there.

THEN WHY IN THE HELL ARE YOU STILL DOING BATTING HIM FOURTH OR FIFTH EVERYDAY IN THE LINEUP, JACKASS?!?

JFC. No wonder you're getting fired in about 5 weeks.
