Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Apparently it's Garbage Day in the bullpen. Gorzelanny followed by Feliz, and somehow it's still a 5-5 game.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Loaded with Longoria at the plate. 9th inning, 1 out.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

And Davis drops the goddamn ball. JHTFC, Rajai.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

We're not going to get this call, either.

If that's the case, then Ausmus should channel Marlboro Jimmy.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Safe.

That's an ***-****ing right there.

And Dartmouth Brad sits on his ballbag and does not react. He's dead, just like his job security in 3-4 weeks.

I know the guy who runs that site. Be very careful there.

4 bombs for Tampa so far.

I don't want to hear another word from Lynn Henning about the fences. This place is a launching pad tonight.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Good Lord. Steven Moya just made Rajai Davis's theatrics from last night look like Roberto Clemente.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

Somewhat, a while ago. I've met him a few times and got to know him a (very) little bit. Not the greatest guy in the world.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

So the Tigers DFA'ed 24-year-old Daniel Fields and the Brewers claimed him immediately. Fields hasn't been great in the Tigers organization, but it's pretty much a guarantee this guy turns into an All-Star in Milwaukee after Detroit released him so they could keep a 34-year-old middle infielder that has absolutely sucked in the minors on their 40-man roster.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

I think Daniel Fields is eligible to sign elsewhere as a minor league FA after this season. That's the only thing that could make sense.
And we needed another IF/utility guy due to Iggy's injury.

I think we're going to end up on the wrong side of this call, too.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

They were getting to Simon in the 6th. So, yep, let's trot him back out there to start the 7th.

Can we fire this ****tard in the dugout yet?

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 8: The Doc Cramer edition

My God, man. If you throw a pitch like that, it's a miracle if it doesn't leave the ballpark.

Well, this thread is about to close, and with what better news than this.

To quote our good from Hawk, "He Gone!"

Sigh...I'm sure you are happy, but I can tell you one thing. You all will be just as unhappy with whoever comes in after him. maybe more so. It's been in the works for several weeks now.
