Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

These pitchers are about 2 inside pitches from getting a visit at the mound from Miggy. He's about 4 different kinds of ****ed right now.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Berry's having all kinds of problems running the bases tonight.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

For once someone batting lower than 5th comes up with a big hit. Peralta cuts it to 7-5.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Boesch really appears to be dipping his back shoulder. Let's see how long it takes Legendary Lloyd to figure that out.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

I think benches just got warned because Hamilton got hit on an off-speed pitch.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

If that's a double, I'm Abe Lincoln's uncle. Raburn is looking at Peralta and the ball lands on the other side of Raburn. That ball might have landed 8 feet behind the infield dirt. Maybe. At best.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

And the Keystone Kops are apparently playing in the infield for us tonight. Moreso than most nights.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

There's kind of a Twilight Zone feel to this game. Now we have batter's interference. Weird.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

I don't know why in the hell I'm still watching this mess. We're gonna need 20 to win tonight.

Jesus Christ, Ryan Raburn sucks. He does not belong on a major league roster. He makes Brandon Inge look like George Freaking Brett. I could go out there with a skillet on my hand instead of a glove and do a better job in the field than this hillbilly.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

It's a minor miracle that Raburn didn't hit into a triple play. The fact that he was only the 2nd batter to hit in this inning is only a minor detail here.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Apparently minor league hitting instructor Toby Harrah will remain with the big club for a while. Hmmmmm.......

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Tigers don't expect Victor Martinez back before mid-September, if at all. I'm leaning towards the latter there.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

just fyi, but for the year inge has a .213 average, 7 hr, 35 rbi's,And he plays the field fairly well.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

And we're into the bullpen in the 7th, opening with Coke.

4-1 lead and we might need every bit of it.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

An error by Berry. Let's see if Coke craps himself after that.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

After last night's abortion at 2B, Marlboro Jimmy sticks Raburn in RF as a defensive replacement.
