I hold no reverence for Chomsky after reading about his evolution from the 50’s forward. He can be right about W., But that means nothing to me since he abandoned the real moral crusaders of the 60’s and 70’s for a seat at the table. So his books are available at airports nationwide etc.,.. his words ring hollow to me now because of it.

In my opinion Chomsky has been at the forefront of every significant Leftist political action for 50 years. If he fails your purity test that is a high bar indeed.

I agree with you on 90% of political matters, music, film etc., but I find a real problem with people like Chomsky who abandon the principals they purport to uphold by saying “ we’ll never know the truth” ...it’s imo cowardice.

I can respect that. I think he has done good work. I think on issues where he pumps the brakes we might consider it as well. He has credibility.

Who was the crowd that Yang was pulling in? I’ve seen more than a few baseball hat emojis on Twitter (the Yang Gang symbol for whatever reason) supporting conservative views the last couple weeks.

At least at the caucus I was at, mainly young males. Probably stole mainly from Bernie to the extent these would have been otherwise disaffected voters who hate all politicians as part of the system.

Yes, that's why all of his further tweets offer a correction to the statistical term he choose to use, and aren't all "haha I triggered ewe libz!".
