Democratic Challengers 9: Can we climb this mountain? I don't know.

Re: Democratic Challengers 9: Can we climb this mountain? I don't know.

Look, Pete walks down any street to n Milwaukee today and maybe 1 in 10 people recognize him. Bernie walks down the same street and 8 of 10 people will recognize him.

I would say the real numbers are: 7 people out of 100 recognize Bernie. 3 people in 10,000 recognize Pete.

The vast majority of our fellow citizens have the political engagement of a dung beetle.

If you're asking me to work the phones, that's not my MO. I spend enough time on the phone for my job, thanks. I'm also bad at knocking on doors.

I have donated some money, if that counts.

President Trump thanks you.

Of course ticap was probably posting that at the airport on his way to move to Scotland since it seems they might go independent...but that is TOTALLY DIFFERENT :D

Re: Democratic Challengers 9: Can we climb this mountain? I don't know.

So to sum up: You'd all rather argue on an anonymous message board than actually do anything productive. President Trump thanks you for your support.
I've done some volunteering and need to do more.

Re: Democratic Challengers 9: Can we climb this mountain? I don't know.

Question is: are POC still homophobic?

At the risk of propagating an unfair generalization, yes, yes they are. Anecdotally, in a previous job I worked with a young, black homosexual guy. He said acceptance of him by family was troublesome but by his straight black friends was almost non-existent. His belief was that the African American community still had a lot further to go than others when it comes to an acceptance and understanding of the LGBTQ community.

They've still got a bad case of the Gods.

You are overestimating our fellow citizens. I would say the real numbers are: 7 people out of 100 recognize Bernie. 3 people in 10,000 recognize Pete.

The vast majority of our fellow citizens have the political engagement of a dung beetle.

More people would think Bernie was Larry David than Bernie Sanders :D

WAIT!!!!

Maybe Larry David is ACTUALLY a CIA plant to make us all THINK Bernie is actually campaigning! Dont you see...Larry David is from New York...who was the Mayor of New York...MIKE BLOOMBERG! who else was a Mayor...MAYOR PETE!!!!

THIS GOES DEEPER THAN WE EVER IMAGINED!!!!!!!11!!11!!!1!!!

Why bother with people who have no shot?

Re: Democratic Challengers 9: Can we climb this mountain? I don't know.

Half the adult men in the town I grew up in looked like Bernie Sanders. The other half looked like Tony Soprano.

And you sound like an Alex Jones wannabe. At least Jones is getting paid for it. Now please regale us with more links to weird azz websites that you hope get a rise out of people for.....reasons, I guess.

Consortiumnews is a news site founded by Robert Parry. If you don’t know him i’d suggest you read up on who he was and the incredible work he did in the field. He was one of if not the first to report cia connection to drug dealers and the crack explosion that followed.

He is a legend in investigative reporting.

Half the adult men in the town I grew up in looked like Max von Sydow. The other half looked like Max von Sydow with extra fingers and toes or, occasionally, arms.

Keep Manhattan just give me that countryside.

Why are you here posting when you could be doing something productive. You're just as lazy as the rest of us!

Or, you are doing what you can when you can and don't expect to spend every waking, non-working/eating/message board raging moment instead canvassing for Mayor Pete and his gang of former CIA operatives.

But he's posting from his local Bernie campaign office.

Wait, so you are saying that a guy who has been in politics for three times longer than the other guy and who was a big figure on the national stage in 2016 when the other guy was just a mayor will be more recognizable in a city in a completely different state than the one where they've spent the better part of the last six months making dozens and dozens of appearances, making the latter guy's popularity in the latter state suspicious?!

Re: Democratic Challengers 9: Can we climb this mountain? I don't know.

This message board actually serves a larger purpose believe it or not. Its a good place for the sane people to gain some perspective and focus on the big picture. Left unanswered petty grudges regarding politics can have damaging effects. "Bernie lied about his conversation with Warren", "Buttigieg didn't pay proper homage to Sanders" blah blah blah. Next thing you know lefties are sitting out the election which would be a disaster.

So, get everybody out here focused on the important stuff (kicking treasonous money laundering cult out of power) instead of minor policy differences is critical. Then in our interactions with family, friends, co-workers, whatever, you can argue against bothsiderism and other such nonsense. Some issues will never be solved. trix will never be enthusiastic about a nominee except for Sanders. Scooby will always find bad news to yank his crank to even if the Dems pull off an LBJ in '64 type landslide. No matter, as long as everyone is committed to voting Dem AND convincing others to do so as well. Now is the time to choose sides. The more people realize that, the dimmer Chump's re-election prospects become.
