A Charlie Kirk tweet? Really? Bummer.

I was unaware of his background but does that make the tweet false? Now that I know about his background, no more, but I will stand by the facts that are presented.

"I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience."

If he gets covid-19, he has a 15% chance of dying and a 50:50 shot at spending WEEKS in the hospital on a respirator. I think that’s pretty relevant right now. So maybe don’t be so ****ing glib?

A) That's true of all the candidates.
B) If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. I think that's just as relevant right now. So have a margarita.

Re: Demcratic Challengers 11: Saving the Republic one voter at a time!

Oh please. Sanders isn't some upstart running a moneyball campaign. He's copying the Trump playbook of winning pluralities while the rest of the field kills each other until it's too late. Which good for him, but it doesn't change the fact his ardent supporters act like your average Bostonian.

I suppose the alternative is he's the St Louis Cardinals, complete with the holier than thou fans.

Well here's the thing, uno. Candidates don't actually map to MLB franchises... :p

Re: Demcratic Challengers 11: Saving the Republic one voter at a time!

Hate to say it but we are getting 4 more years of Trump.

Based on your posting history I have a hard time believing you would be broken up by this.

But your concern is noted and logged.

Warren
Sanders
Klobuchar
Bloomberg
And Biden

Average age—72

60% male

All white

4 millionaires, 1 billionaire

This is the party of youth & diversity?

(as seen on The Tweeter Machine)

60/40 is the most diverse you can get in a field of 5 unless you want one of them to be a hermaphrodite.

(Note: I am in fact all for a hermaphrodite president.)

Bernie being rich doesnt matter...he isnt a REAL Socialist ;) He is a Kepler style Socialist who preaches the good word but makes sure to get second helpings at all the cocktail parties. :p

(I honestly dont care that Bernie is rich it just makes me laugh when he rails against the rich like he is some pauper out panhandling...though with that hair it would make sense :D )

Bernie doesn't rail again the rich, he rails against the super rich.

The people with $500M have been using the people with $5M as a human shield. They are very, very different cases and represent very, very different things about America.

The conflation of socialism with communism, and high taxes on the super wealthy with high taxes on everyone, is a cynical strategy employed by the super rich to continue bankrupting our country. Please stop falling for it, because:

1. It's been destroying the middle class -- YOU! -- for fifty years.
2. It's really obvious.
3. It's really, really obvious.

He's not looking to tax you. He's looking to tax the company where you work.

Bernie isn't a Socialist. I know actual Socialists and they're either amused or offended that Americans believe he's a Socialist. Bernie wants to tax Wall Street. A Socialist would abolish Wall Street.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

Speaking as a real* socialist, thank you for getting it!

BTW, real socialists can be rich and enjoy it. Ask Scandinavia. We just don't whine about our taxes and want them higher on us than on the middle class because we understand Basic F-cking Fairness.

* I guess a real socialist is supposed to love the working class. I loathe the working class; they're boring and gross. I just want them to get a fair chance. Capitalists love the working class -- they love them so much they can't stop kicking them in the teeth.

A million minutes ago Barbara Bush passed away.
A billion minutes ago Emperor Trajan returned to Rome after pacifying Dacia.

That's a fantastic comparison.

And that's exactly the difference between the rich and the super rich.

Scale matters.

The amount of influence a billionaire has to potentially destroy democracy compared to a millionaire is pretty vast.

I mean we always knew rube gets his fill of right wing media somewhere :D

no it isn't.

there are less people in the u.s. who know who trajan is than are actual billionaires :D

Once again you've missed the point brilliantly. Probably intentionally. I bet the number of Americans who can grasp the difference between a modern event they have a memory of and the Roman Empire they read about in history books is much larger.
