You know that's horse ****... I know that's horse ****... give it up and give it up now.
edit: You've never cared about the Democrat's corruption problems... admit this that flat out now because a lot of this stuff has been rolling there for decades. The Democratic Party has always been a cornerstone of American corruption.... and its easier to do when your followers think you are on the side of the angels and saintly. I hold no illusions of Republicans.
Man, I understand pandering to your base in primaries (tomorrow in Michigan), but the Republicans running for governor are basically trying to one-up each other on who is the most pro-gun and pro-life, as if the most pressing issue facing Michigan is whether we can pass anti-abortion laws that will be shot down by federal appeals courts over the next four years.
I'd like to hear, you know, some sort of business plans, since I'm leaning about 80% toward voting Republican this time around after 8 years of Granholm. Maybe next week.
Hmm, that's interesting. This article made it sound like Snyder was trying to appeal to moderates more.

Wonderful to see resident lefties Rover and Major *still* living in the past....or in Kepler's case, living in an imaginary utopian society where all conservatives are incarcerated for life or turned into edible recyclables, a la Soylent Green.
Watching conservatives now reminds me of them when Sarah Palin got chosen as the VP nominee. Wasn't that supposed to rocket that ticket to the Presidency?
Regarding ethics, looks like Dems are cleaning up their own house, .
Incumbent Democrat Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick loses her primary in Michigan's 13th last night.
Also on the ballots last night was Proposition C in Missouri. A yes vote on that proposition was to reject the individual mandate in Obamacare.

71% voted yes.
Now, caveats include the fact that this was a primary election, so turnout wasn't high. Second, the ballot language was a little tricky in my opinion, so maybe that confused people. Finally, the vote probably carries little to no legal weight. Still though, ouch for Obamacare.
The strangest episode of Paul's time at Baylor occurred one afternoon in 1983 (although memories about all of these events are understandably a bit hazy, so the date might be slightly off), when he and a NoZe brother paid a visit to a female student who was one of Paul's teammates on the Baylor swim team. According to this woman, who requested anonymity because of her current job as a clinical psychologist, "He and Randy came to my house, they knocked on my door, and then they blindfolded me, tied me up, and put me in their car. They took me to their apartment and tried to force me to take bong hits. They'd been smoking pot." After the woman refused to smoke with them, Paul and his friend put her back in their car and drove to the countryside outside of Waco, where they stopped near a creek. "They told me their god was 'Aqua Buddha' and that I needed to bow down and worship him," the woman recalls. "They blindfolded me and made me bow down to 'Aqua Buddha' in the creek. I had to say, 'I worship you Aqua Buddha, I worship you.' At Baylor, there were people actively going around trying to save you and we had to go to chapel, so worshiping idols was a big no-no."
Time for the Rand Paul Scandal of the week
as said by others.... we now know more about Rand Paul's college years than Barack Obama. ALL HAIL AQUABUDDHA!
Harry Reid makes a compelling argument for votes.
