Even though the TPers can be scary, and inevitably are silly, they are "the lesser of two evils" compared to who they're fighting against for party hegemony.

It's bad when those are the only viable choices for the NRC. One thing nominating an ideologically-chameleon non-entity like Mittens could do would be to partly detoxify the GOP.

edit: You've never cared about the Democrat's corruption problems... admit this that flat out now because a lot of this stuff has been rolling there for decades. The Democratic Party has always been a cornerstone of American corruption.... and its easier to do when your followers think you are on the side of the angels and saintly.
