mookie recalls a story about danny and the use of the n word during DTRT. danny claimed he couldn't say it. spike went off a rant calling danny every slur he could think of trying to set him off. whether danny was just playing a role or not, he ended up replying in kind to spike... and the were then able to role film and danny threw down '******'.

I’ll always remember two of his quotes-
“Everyone is standing, except for the people in wheelchairs.”
And referring to Erik Johnson- “they’re going to dangle the big Johnson in front of the net.”

I was hoping we would hear stories or quotes like that from gopher fans. He meant a lot to a lot of people in the world of college hockey.

One of my favorites when a goalie couldn't control their rebounds and the opposing team is whacking away:

“It looks like someone dropped bread crumbs in the lake and all the sunfish came up to the top”
