I don't have a problem with someone replacing a player ASAP in a situation like this. At this level it's often impossible to know if a player will unexpectedly not return. As this is all in fun, when something like this does arise I see no issue with letting someone replace the guy right away instead of having his team really take it on the chin.

Just my 1.9 cents.

Correct yes it is fine...as long as we keep it within reason. There should be a reason you have to switch a player. Once the draft is done you are allowed two moves/trades. If a player gets injured the only way to take him off is he will go into the restricted free agent pool....meaning no one can pick him back up.

Agreed - if necessary we should have a supplementary draft to replace guys who aren't anybody's roster at the start of the season.

Just to be clear.

The draft order goes 1-2-3-3 correct?

If that's the way it goes, I believe that's more fair than I initially thought so that the people at the top end of the draft get a chance at the pick number increasing once. I thought it went 1-2-2-3 or something like that.

That makes 9 players and I believe Remy had it listed as 4 forwards, three defensemen, and two goalies.

If so, that's a solid way to do it.

The only thing that would have been slightly more balanced would have been 1-1-1-3-3-3 The sum of the draft positions would have been slightly more compact.

I dont know if we would have finished that draft order in time. It's possible. We're actually trucking along pretty good now that everyone is paying attention and we have the new members.

We probably could have done it that way but it would have been tight. Ahh well.

I put an extra 3 in there I should have said 1-1-1-3-3 but it would have added a round, and we could have come up short.

Ahh well. I'm still pretty happy with my team. Two 20 goal scorers...An all-american in the 2nd round of the draft.

A goalie that inherits the position most likely of top 5 team that posted good numbers when he's healthy and has a chance.

I couldn't be more satisfied at this point.

I really hate to be a prick here, but altazo completed his picks Sunday night at 7:41 PM EST. I'll defer to the commish here, but Cards_Rule_The_Burgh might be clear to pick.

My bad. With the whole discussion that was taking place there, I got lost in regards to who was up. I will have both my picks and Masenite's picks posted by 5pm today.
