The long awaited location of the D3 Women's hockey frozen four has been decided. Wis. Superior's Wessman Arena will be the predetermined site.

Interesting decision. Thoughts?

Well they will be there so hell ya! I might have to plan a trip home! I am shocked though.

It's gonna suck if Superior is the fourth seed.

But it'll suck more if Superior doesn't make it at all.

I didn't say anyone deserved it over anyone else.

Just saying bout time was a bit over the top considering Gustavus hosted 3 years ago and had the lowest attendance in the championship's 11-year history and that was with the host team in it.

What will numbers be like if superior isn't in it?

We can do what ifs all night. Its a predetermined site, lets see what happens. Maybe 2014 will be predetermined in the east.

I'd say decent in superior. They have to bring it out west once every 4 years now right? So it was this year or next.

Congrats to superior...haven't the men hosted a NCAA final four? I see superior having a tough time to get there but hope they can do it..prediction of final four teams Gusties, Middleburry, Plattsburgh and Norwich. Seeded in that order.

The men hosted in like 06. Derek if I remember got stranded in jersey(?) due to snow and missed Oswego win the title. Haha

Interesting...maybe this is the year a western-based team wins a game in the FF...:D And as for attendance, it couldnt be much worse than the 58 or so that attended a game in Norwich over the weekend...:)
