Middlebury over Norwich
Gustavus over River Falls

Plattsburgh over Middlebury
Elmira over Gustavus

Gustavus over Middlebury for third place
Plattsburgh gets the sweep over Elmira (in OT) for National Title #3 and Unbeaten season #2!!!!!

Or maybe it's Plattsburgh's turn to have an unbeaten season come to a crashing halt in the national championship game....

What are you talking about? What does starting out "following the ladies" have anything to do with my post? My point was it's not just that he's wondering if Plattsburgh will lose, it's that, deep down, he's HOPING they lose because of, as you mentioned, his starting out "following the ladies" (Elmira).

My other point was, he follows three men's teams which different allegiances to all three.

So I'm not sure where I was "clueless."

Forgive me for asking, but who did that happen to in the past. ?....RIT ?, Norwich ?, Elmira ?.

P.S. Could not find it with any of these teams during a quick check on Collegestats.?

Maybe we should have not put Whine in this thread. It would be terrific to just have predictions during this time of season, versus posts that showed that some thin skinned individuals are more concerned about their comments, than celebrating this time of year which is the culmination of another terrific DIII season!!

Good luck to all of the remaining teams!!

RIT's men in 2001...I don't think it's happened to a women's team yet.

You're partially right... 93-94 team lost in the semi-finals to Wisc-River Falls and then beat Salem St. in the consolation (oops...third place) game to finish 29-1-4. The next year they lost the national title game to Middlebury 1-0, but had four other losses....

That is Pre-NCAA day's. NCAA tourney started around 2000.

Championship is so hard to predict, but I think I'll go with Plattsburgh over Gustavus in the showdown of unbeaten teams. I am a big GAC fan, but I think the Platty team has more firepower. On the other hand, there is precendent for GAC to beat Plattsburgh in the NCAAs...so who knows...
