I would guess very few games are won at this stage of the season by teams giving up 3 goals on 11 shots.Concordia with an insurance goal early in 3rd to go up 3-1 on St Thomas...despite being outshot 26-11

Still Adrian 0 UWS 0 midway through the 2nd.
Nightmare scenario for Elmira..Adrian wins the NCHA tomorrow. The MIAC schools are all over 500 miles away....which would mean 3 western schools most likely.
I really thought if UWS kept them down to one goal that they would win. I thought the blatent tackle of Schulz on a partial breakaway near end should definitely have been called. Its one thing not to make some of the calls in the neutral zone that didn't take away good scoring chances. Really disappointed that UWS was unable to score, they didn't really have a lot of scoring chances on their power plays which in the last few games had been really good. To bad UWS missed the wide open net on one of the PP. Thought both goaltenders had good games and kept the game low scoring. Guess will have to wait for next year. Really sorry that the season is over especially at the hands of Adrian again.Adrian takes out Superior once again...1-0 in the NCHA semis.
Ref's decided that penalties weren't needed after the 10 minute mark of the third. There were several superior players just taken down and nothing called. Superior had a couple that should have been called as well, but there were a couple blatant tackles of UWS players let go. .
Michelin played really well. Late in the third she made several great saves.
Fairly disappointed at this point in time

Are you thinking Adrian then goes out to RIT and Gustavus and Concordia play a quarter-final?

As I posted in the NCHA forum, UWS has a problem winning low, close scoring games. I thought SNC might pull it off last week, but their team really didn't put out its best. It finally got to them. Not seeing Adrian putting together back to back winners this weekend, though.
If Michelin plays like yesterday...then they might. They Adrian goal was such a crappy goal as well....i'd feel better about it if it was a sweet move, good strong goal...but it wasn't. I wonder if they will even play Michelen today or go with Zeches.
