In the wild west weekend. Gustavus comes away with only 1 point and Superior only gets 1 point.

Both games end in a tie

3-0 Elmira over Chatham after 1 from Pine Valley as Tori Charron scores her 18,19 & 20 of the year for the natural hat trick...

charron now has 6 goals (two separate natural hat tricks). 7-0 elmira over chatham near end of 2nd.

7-0 after 2 in Pine Valley. Saltstone scores her 2nd of the year and Charron gets her 21st, 22nd & 23rd for the Sixtrick...which I believe eclipses a long standing Laura Hurd record (4 Goals in 1 Game).

he also had her out there in the last 2 minutes and she was clearly trying to attack the net and score.

with that said, i dont believe the no class crap about anyone at this level. if you're going to field a college team, it's your responsibility to make sure they can compete, and if they can't then you need to move yourself to a level where they can. otherwise, you have no reason to complain when you get your butt handed to you.

If Chatham were to play in a conference which was more in line with their abilities.. like say the NCHA... then they would be able to compete. They clearly cannot do so in the ECAC West however..I do not forecast much of a future for this program.

Well... uncharacteristic of the Elmira Coaching staff all the same and I can only believe it may have been in an attempt to tie or surpass another Hurd record of 9 points in one game.
