Plattsburgh goes up 2-1 on a goal from Sheerhan on a great pass from Senese

This may be the best team I've seen all year. They seem to be covering what Plattsburgh wants to do most (pass to the points, carry the puck down low). Bad turnovers led to the second goal though.

YEah...River Falls is having trouble getting it out of the zone...seems like they are trying to carry it out instead of passing it. I hope they settle down. As long as they keep it close, they got a chance :) I saw a pretty good hook/hold by a Platty player right before that goal though :P :P

The best team I've seen all year and the best team all year in general is leading 2-1. Prolific fore-checking led to second goal.

Just a workmanlike second period. It's been Plattsburgh's best period all year and it was again (just like yesterday)... River Falls has a big mountain to climb now.

I'm not too optimistic. However, I never thought they'd pull of the win, Plattsburgh's just too good. Just hoping they represent themselves well.

Would it be jinxing Platty to say this game and the national championship is in the bag?! This one's over. Hand them the trophy now. It's not even exciting anymore. There's no drama as to which team is going to win. This is Platty's to lose and the only way that's going to happen is if they have a complete and total collapse in the final period of the year.....and that's just not going to happen.

They almost collapsed in the 3rd against Middlebury and I just hope that if they have the foot on the throat if UWRF they stomp down.

You can't jinx a team you aren't rooting for. Nice try though!
