2-0 for Norwich over Middlebury after first period. Norwich is looking like it wants this alot more than Middlebury. Norwich looks strong and Middlebury looks disjointed. For Middlebury to come back they will need to regroup between periods. In the end not real meaningful game for either team, as both would need to win their conference, as neither will get an at-large bid.

Kristen Bond on the PP makes it 2-0 with 11:29 left in the first.

Oswego gets one back. Kirkwood from Collins and Bergeron makes it 2-1 Cardinals.

Kristen Bond gets her second of the night from Kara Buehler on the PP to make it 3-1 Cardinals under a minute left in the first. Oswego goes on the PP.....

And that's how the first period ends. Oswego will start the second period on the PP.
