Re: D3 Game Updates Continued

Anyone have any insight behind that RIT, Buff State game? 3 goals on 11 shots?

Quite simply....the goaltending at RIT is their achilles heal. They have been hidden all year by a very capable defense. Interestingly, the goalie they almost lost to tonight at Buffalo State was on the RIT roster 2 seasons ago. Clearly, they let the better one get away.

From what I heard a Buffalo State girl went full speed into our goalie and we had to take her out and put in the backup.

Not that that is really an excuse for the crappy stats.

backup is a term being used for this particular game i assume. i know they've split time as a rule, but is one playing against tougher teams than the other?

Re: D3 Game Updates Continued

in this situation it would be acceptable as they need to outscore them by that much this weekend to beat Stevens Point in the goal differential tiebreaker :)

Yup...having to beat an opponent by 25 and just doing it for the "fun" of it are two entirely different things.

Ummmm...Good Luck!

well its not going to happen so don't worry. Even if Eau Claire played without a goalie for 2 periods..i doubt they would get to 25...there are better odds of Finlandia tying Stevens Point ;)

Re: D3 Game Updates Continued

At the end of 1 in Pittsburgh it is Chatham 2 Neumann 1.

Lauren Campbell with 2 goals for Chatham. Neumann goal came from pretty much below the goal line. Not sure who scored it...I think it was #66

Re: D3 Game Updates Continued

8 and a half to go in the 2nd, Chatham 3 Neumann 2. Neumann scored another softy early in the 2nd and Chatham just pulled ahead 3-2 on a goal by Leah McNaughton. Lauren Campbell picked up her 3rd point of the day with an assist. Neumann has changed their goaltender.

Re: D3 Game Updates Continued

4-2 Chatham. Lauren Campbell completes the hattrick shorthanded after stealing the puck behind the Neumann net
