I'm in Worcester today for Norwich taking the ice for the first time since the Cadets' 44-game ECAC East regular season unbeaten streak was snapped by Saint Anselm on Nov. 17 in a 4-3 OT loss.

Puck drops at 4pm from the Hart Center.

NU will go with Carrier in goal, but Fisk was out on the ice for warmups for the first time since her injury a couple days before the season opener so promising signs there.

Prez..How did the game look? Looking at the box score the first two periods for both teams had several penalties and Norwich was able to capitalize where HC was unable. A Fisk sighting! I wonder if she'll get back in looks to me Loren has been doing a good job for Norwich. Thoughts?

Loren has done a great job filling into the No. 1 goalie role once Fisk went down. She's played solid and certainly hasn't been the reason Norwich has two ties and one loss.

Norwich played much more focused and discplined in their systems on Sunday than they did against Saint Anselm.

I think the loss definitely refocused the team a bit. Hopefully the trend continues.

This team has a ton of talent and if they can come together they can do something special.

I would agree very little being posted. Also the last d111 blog with predictions is nov 16-18. It seems to me that this season could be one of the most
interesting in the last number of seasons. It seems that there are at least four teams maybe more that are very close. One thing that I haven't been
able to figure out is the fact that UWRS has already played Adrian UWS and UWSP. I would have thought that the schedule maker would have tried to
get some of the matchups of the clubs that were expected to finish near the top playing eachother near the end of the season. Would have been real
exciting to have a final series matchup between two of the teams that may finish near the top. (maybe even one that decided the final standings and
had an effect on season ending poll)
My preditions for the weekend UWRS takes both games with ConWisc. Adrian sweeps St Norbert, UWSP wins one and ties the other with Scholastica, UWS wins both over Lake Forest but games will be very close.
Also nice to see four ncha teams in the uscho top ten poll. Don't think that has happened in quite some time.

Its kind of a surprise in the way they went up 7 rip after twenty minutes and then only managed 3 in 40 minutes. And the 2 in the 2nd period came within about 1:10 of each other. So, I'm surprised it wasn't worse. I doubt that Joe called off the dogs either.
And, what's with the Time Out :14 into the game???

Lake Forest up 2-1 after 2. Lost video feed to this game. Guess I will have to start watching another game.

Probably good for you that you lost it...Now 4-1 Lake Forest with bad turnovers by the Yellowjackets in their zone.

The announcers went on this 5 minute rant about all the amazing things Zaban has done in her career....and how they didn't know she was such an accomplished person. She's been your coach for 4 or 5 years...you didn't think to look that up at some point in time?

I'm up in Bowdoin today for No. 3 Norwich taking on Bowdoin in a non-conference tilt at the Sid Watson Arena in Brunswick, Maine.

Junior goalie Kelly Fisk making her return to the net tonight for Norwich after missing nearly the entire first semester with an injury.

And now they are arguing who is more American...Toby Keith or Tim McGraw...no wonder UWS is losing..these morons are annoying them!

I mentioned it in regards to River Falls and I saw Obserbear mentioned it in the NESCAC thread. Laughlin played our #2 goaltender today...and we lost. When every game matters is it good to play your backup in these situations? It wasn't like Lake Forest rolled over yesterday. I understand you want to get them game experience, but is that better saved for the finlandia game?? This loss could cost you the post season, because you decided to play your 2nd stringer...I just don't get it.
