Now 3-1 Gophers, Erickson with the 3rd goal, Kessel gets the assist. A little over 8 minutes left.

Jen Schoullis scores the hat trick on an empty netter and the Gophers win 4-1. Shots on goal were 50-24 Gophers.

Ohio State defeated Minnesota State in Mankato earlier tonight 2-1. Goals were scored by Kelly Wild and Ally Tarr.

Cornell wins 9-0 over Yale. Freshmen Saulnier continues her Ecac Rookie of the Week (and maybe player of the week) drive by adding 2 goals and an assist to her 4-goal (on 4 shots) game Tues night. at Colgate. The JJJ line (Johnny, Jenner, Jill) line is very impressive. The line has a combined 23 points.

Minnesta Duluth has scored twice in the 2nd for a 2-0 lead over the Sioux.

Scratch that...make it 3-0.

2nd period complete in Duluth, 3-0 UMD over UND. The Sioux with 20 SOG...unable to find the net so far. Duluth 3rd goal a shorty by Winberg.

Duluth pulling away now. Up 5-0 in the 3rd.

Bit of a contrast from the last conference series for North Dakota.

The Big Green goes home with 3 points for the weekend. Final of 1-0 over St. Lawrence, with Reagan Fischer getting the lone goal. Shots 29-24.

The Crimson make it a North Country sweep with a 2-1 OT win over Clarkson at Cheel. Marisa Gedman nets the winner at 1:32 of OT. She is off to a great start as are her teammates.
