UMD leads Wisconsin 2-1 at the end of one. Both Bulldog goals by rookie Jenna McParland. Wisconsin leads in SOG 20-15 and will have a few seconds of power play when the second period starts.

B C registered 25 shots on goal in first two periods against Quinnipiac today. Quinnipiac registered 3.
Mmm? Some were strongly touting our Hamden neighbor.

Wisconsin leads UMD 3-2 after two. I'm a homer, but those were two shaky goals by Wisconsin. Good game so far!

I hesitate to post anything since Wisconsin's scored three goals in the past what...one minute? Still just over a minute to play in the first, but it's currently 3-0 Badgers over UMD. Could be 5 or 6 to zip by the time the horn sounds.

UMD scores on a powerplay three minutes into the second to cut Wisconsin's lead to 3-1. Winberg from Irwin.

Wisconsin scores with seven minutes left in the second to go up 4-1 against UMD. The Bulldogs lead 32-14 in shots on goal and aren't hurting for scoring chances, but clearly Rigsby has some sort of force field around her.

Wisconsin gets a penalty coming up and Harss leaves the Bulldogs net. The Bulldogs have posession because the whistle hasn't sounded yet and they send it toward the point and it misses everyone. The puck sails the length of the ice and into the empty net and the Badgers get a goal without even touching the puck. Wisconsin up 5-1 with a minute left in the second. Geez.

Audrey Cournoyer scores on a 5-on-3 power play with 15 seconds left in the second to cut Wisconsin's lead to 5-2. The Bulldogs will start the third on a power play.
