BC or Minnesota is a better question...
Okay, so "never mind" on that question. The Maine Black Bears just hung a 5-2 beating on the Golden Eagles of Boston College..in Chestnut Hill.

BC or Minnesota is a better question, and one that the Gophers will get a chance to answer, as their next two series are against the two teams where BC failed to win, UMD and UNH.
Yes, but they didn't win game one in Duluth nor game one vs UNH; they've won all of their other games, until today.BC beat UMD 3-2 in game 2 of their series two weeks ago.
Cornell wins 9-0 over Yale. Freshmen Saulnier continues her Ecac Rookie of the Week (and maybe player of the week) drive by adding 2 goals and an assist to her 4-goal (on 4 shots) game Tues night. at Colgate. The JJJ line (Johnny, Jenner, Jill) line is very impressive. The line has a combined 23 points.

Impressive. Too, Big Red may have a contender in Crimson. Lindsey Fry has 25 shots in three games. H. seems to have some strengths this annum. Maybe they won't draaaaag along like usual in early season.
Watch Fry- big girl also. From Arizona.

Ha... Are you for real? The eye roll icon means you're joking right?
Well that's not really true of Gopher fans as a generalization, but it sounds that way often enough, I'll admit. Although I think there's another...ahem...group of fans that are far worse in this respect. The Gopher fans that pay close attention to the rest of the WCHA (some don't) are well aware of the ability of every team to beat the team they support in a given contest. if they don't acknowledge that they aren't paying attention. Although I don't think that applies to anyone who posts in this forum. Gopher fans in this forum have seen the Beavers give Minnesota fits too many times since Sertich took over to attribute a loss to Bemidji solely to lackluster play by Minnesota. I'm not really surprised by a split...just disappointed. Some of what you perceive is due to frustration from those of us who watch Minnesota every weekend and see the noticeable swings from excellent play to something less than a stellar effort. Fans of every team gotta be a little familiar with that experience. I think that's why you'll usually read some griping by fans of various teams about their teams execution, after a loss.Actually I'm real and I'm very disappointed the Beavers lost on Friday.....I'm sure all Beaver fans are.
Plus I'm obligated to poke at the Gopher fans who, when analyzing a game, figure that the outcome is 100% determined by how the Gophers perform, and that the opposing teams are just collections of random lesser characters who are not in control of their own destiny. In other words, the Gophers only lost because the Gophers didn't come out strong in the 1st period and the Gophers let [fill in Team B's name here] hang around too long and then the Gophers couldn't come up with the big goal in the 3rd, when, since the Gophers were finally actually trying, dominated the game of course. In other other words, if the Gophers play even average, there's no way in hell they'll ever lose to BSU or MSU or SCSU or OSU or UND.
You are correct that we can sound that way at times. My opinion is that emphasis on how the Gophers performed is more permissible in our own thread, because they are the topic of that thread.Plus I'm obligated to poke at the Gopher fans who, when analyzing a game, figure that the outcome is 100% determined by how the Gophers perform, and that the opposing teams are just collections of random lesser characters who are not in control of their own destiny.
