Outshot them 23-5 in the 3rd. Although 'hurst went up 1-0 briefly in the 3rd on a PP goal that was a gift that hit one of Cornell's players and dropped in front, Mercyhurst never once had control of the game. Cornell dominated from start to finish and found more energy in the 3rd. Mercyhurst looked tired and confused, many times just flat footed standing around in the zone. While it was a great win, a statement game for sure -- I think there are tougher teams out there and the girls just need to keep this kind of team effort they displayed tonite! Way to go Red! Nice win for the Big Red!
By the way, BU and NU tied 3-3 with less than 2 min. to go and Poulin gets a penalty so NU on pp for the rest of the game....now headed to OT.

Nice new arena they have in Bemidji from what I could tell watching it online. And they have some good internet coverage, good video and decent play-by-play.
