Heard from a good source that two Shattuck St. Mary's girls Dana Trivigno, Forward from Setauket NY and USA 18's and Lexi Bender, Defense from Snohomish WA have both made verbal commitments to Boston College for 2012-13.

Has anyone heard where Courtney Burke from Shattuck is going next year?

Over the past six or so years I have been doing this I have yet to see a commitment we've listed to an Ivy not turn out to be such. I think the girls doing the committing have a pretty good idea (ridiculously high test scores/a likely letter) that they will be accepted, or have waited until they have been accepted to make the commitment.

At the very least, the coaches can usually give a player a good idea if they'll be able to get them through admissions or not.

A little bird just told me Courtney Burke Defense, Shattuck/USA 18 (Albany NY) recently committed to Wisconsin.

I've heard a lot of very good things about Miss Burke...which leads me to believe this is an excellent pick up for MJ and the Badgers.

Not looking good for my hope to land a USA U-18 player this year. Is Menefee the only USA U18 player graduating this year whose commitment is still to be announced?

Looks like I'm going to have to keep my fingers crossed (not that they weren't already) that Cornell's Canadian U-18 pipe line comes through again in a big way this year.

I've heard Menefee has committed to BC as well.
