1,248 deaths yesterday - the highest for any day since August 25th. The 7-day average is now 946 - the highest since August 31st and the US is on pace for 294k dead by EOY. Active cases are now at 3.4 million - the country was "only" at 2.6 million on August 29th. The good news is Argentina move ahead of the U.S. by 1 death / 1M population so the U.S. is now only 10th in the entire world for total deaths / 1M pop!!! Thank God Jarod is on the case.

So basically we’re rounding the corner and Dany Heatley is behind the wheel

Friendly reminder the 294k is just the official count, probably actually around 25% higher. Oh, and the official count for flu deaths was ~7k, but they are pretty much the same.

FL and TX et all will now start reporting the real numbers, so I would expect a "jump" just based on that.

Masks wearing A+.
Social distancing F.
Come on people, this looks like trump rallies.
Darwinism doesn’t care about red or blue.

Depends on the celebration rally- some of the ones I'm seeing have people far apart with masks.

Most of the larger cities? not that I’ve seen. Again, A+ on the masks. Impressive, actually. Just the shoulder to shoulder large crowds that give me pause...

This could not be any more insane https://www.boston.com/news/coronavi...pening-metrics I’d also note that in the eight weeks since schools have reopened Mass has gone from around 200 cases per day to over 2,000 the last couple of days. How can you not say schools have played some part in that? Maine has increased by a similar proportion.
KIDS NEED TO BE AROUND KIDS is what my dumb azz cousin says

she’ll also be first to sue when her spawn get it

Yes I am of the belief the actual account is higher.

1,031 deaths for Saturday as of now. Although this gives the impression the count has stopped already. Even with that it's the highest count for a Saturday since August 15th. The 7-day average is now 962- the highest since August 31st and the US is on pace for 294k dead by EOY. Active cases are now at 3.4 million - the country was "only" at 2.6 million on August 27th. And now Mexico - the gold standard for health care across the glob - is tied with the U.S. in 10th place for total deaths / 1M pop.
