Can’t remember if I said it on here or somewhere else, but I’m convinced he was holding the rallies to spread the virus more.

I’m 100% convinced he will try to make this worse in the next two months.

It’s why the Biden transition team needs to call the governors of all states and start that transition NOW. The smart states will follow, the others won’t. Take what you can get and help them survive.

Take the reins. Start steering this thing away from the cliff’s edge. If enough states get on board, we might avert complete disaster.
 
And just as important, get the supply chain ready for a huge testing increase.

dumps people will put up roadblocks and likely try to sabotage but I think there’s enough adults around to step around their carnage and move on

Ignore everything the Republicans say. All of them. There isn’t a single honorable one among them.

listen to the public health experts. There is nothing safe about gatherings of any size. Masks and distancing only lower the risk and aren’t replacements.

Hell, I don’t trust the Minnesotan government much anymore either. They aren’t doing the anything to stop this because they’re worried the right wingers are going to cry.

Watch what Europe is doing. They’re locking down like we did in April and they have a tiny fraction the number of cases we do.

Yep. Start contacting supply chain leaders (3M, Abbott, the testing labs, PPE manufacturers, etc) and major health orgs (hospitals, insurance, etc).

if we get enough major players on board, we might be able to dampen the R enough. We have to take that chance.


if the Rs throw a fit, remind the public why they have an empty chair and the dinner table. The Rs will be their own executioners.

I was wondering what Biden could do as the not-yet-in-the-office president-elect, to meet with private companies and such to ramp up production of masks, surgical gowns, testing supplies, PPE and such. So at least there's the stock there to use when he's able to use it.

Cause we all know Donnie won't do anything about it for the next three months.

theyre private companies meeting with private citizens. They can do whatever they want. :-)

We should draw the line at talking to foreign leaders though. Obviously.

Hopefully he tries to convince governors to get their ****** act together. What is happening in New England is completely unnecessary and all the experts said it would happen unless action was taken.

Why should New England be any different than the rest of the country? Funny how once you start letting people crowd together in bars and restaurants, the virus starts to spread faster.

We are finding out how important a lobby the National Restaurant Association is. Local and state politicians, R and D, are being told to line people up and drop them into the piranha tank, by a donor.

512 deaths yesterday which is the most for a Sunday since August 16th. The 7-day average is now 979 - the highest since August 24th and the US is on pace for 295k dead by EOY. Active cases are now at 3.5 million - the country was "only" at 2.6 million on August 27th. Chuck Murray you dirty savant you!

Was hoping Maine would stay low in active cases but looks to be exploding like rest of country. I've got jobs going all over and are considered essential so I keep going but not liking it one bit. I was in an office a few days ago working, seemed pretty lax in mask department. People are burned out for sure and that ain't helping.
 
CNBC had Pfizer CEO on a few minutes ago. Its 90%+ effective.

Also said the underlying way this vaccine was designed allows it to quickly adapt to mutations when those mutations are discovered.
