Re: Covfefe-19 part 6: Waiting For Advice from Kid Rock and Tiger Woods now.
This. Seriously, this.
I only pop in there a couple of times a week to troll.
I aoid those threads like the plague. You only have so many minutes in a day. Not worth wasting on people who would drink koolaid on their last breath
I would like to see maybe restaurants/etc having an (x) capacity, say 50 people (I dunno, just throwing out a number) to be open. It keeps the crowds small, and helps small businesses.....
Something I don't see anything about- you socially distance the diners, patrons, etc of a business but you have them all dealing with the same employees who are rarely given adequate protection, would need to change protection or at least wash hands, etc between people and many of whom cannot afford to stay out if sick unless they are on death's door.
Went to a big box hardware store the other day- was supposed to have curbside pick up but didn't. There was an entire crew behind the Service desk, all tight together, no attempts to stay apart from each other, not using PPE masks around necks, gloves in pockets. No cleaning anything when dealing with customers- contamination everywhere*. No interest in even being careful. Until you figure that out- things aren't going well. John Q Public sort of tries until they are tired of playing Pandemic and then they decide its too much work and this time won't count. Have a family member who works in medicine, knows how to do it right but it was aggravating so gave up and went mask-less.

The words I just, but just this time, I only are killing people. Americans are spoiled brats who don't think anyone should expect them to maintain this level of care. The virus is saying, "hold my beer, b1tch"
*True confessions- taught Nursing Fundamentals lab and clinical. Stuff like how to mask, glove, gown and how to take it off. The students at least understand the concept of cross contamination the need to take care and are paranoid they will do something wrong and either hurt someone or catch something.
