Wow. Wow. I am in awe.

This is comforting.

“ Top Trump administration officials cut short their testimony at a House Oversight hearing on the response to the coronavirus after President Trump called an "emergency" meeting at the White House "that it is extremely urgent." Some lawmakers on the committee, however, suggested Trump called the meeting to cut down lawmaker's time to ask questions about the administration's plans addressing the outbreak.”

Re: Covfefe-19 2020 part the second: Wash Your Hands

Country here is now in lockdown.

Airport closes Friday
Only locals and relatives allowed flights tonight tomorrow
Coffee shops and restaurants to close
No public gathering
No gym
Public and private work on 2 week holiday until March 29
Expats who have been abroad within last two weeks need to report to the fairgrounds...mookie has seen pictures of a tent city in the desert for infected expats.
Word is there are a lot of numbers waiting to get added to the infected list here (which is currently mid 70s)

Something spooked the govt

Mookie was able to make a tee time for 7a tomorrow. We will see how that goes, inshalla.

UAE? Saudi? Thailand? I'm confused about where you are presently pursuing your sex tourism.

I assume that's true. On the other hand, it's not completely dissimilar from a nursing home, like the one in Washington. People have their own rooms, or are next to perhaps maybe just one other person. But people go from room to room. There are common spaces like hallways, dining areas, recreation areas, etc... Obviously the nursing home has very vulnerable individuals which I assume most companies wouldn't. But it's not like we all have to be in the same room.
ALso consider many patients in NH have behaviours similar to toddlers as far as boundries, touching, mouthing things, etc depending on their cognitive state.

Wondering how long it will take before we hit critical mass and the general populace (and the red states) figure out this sh1t is serious. List of Colleges is growing!

I think most functioning adults get it now. The herpa-derps won't get it until they, well, get it.

Re: Covfefe-19 2020 part the second: Wash Your Hands

We just got the word that starting immediately, we can work from home on a voluntary basis. I'll be in the office tomorrow but was planning to WFH on Friday. I guess it will continue. If I need to come in the office, I will be able to but I can do most things from home. Travel now banned through April 30th. Not that I had any plans for business travel.

Look, we've long known the people of New Hampshire have cognitive issues, but I thought we'd all agreed not to say anything. ;)

My second job is bartending at the Convention Center...to say business is down would be an understatement. I wonder what the airport will be like Monday for my birthday trip...

It was a blog post when searching for middle eastern airports closing Friday.

But, Twitter shows the Diretorate General of Civil Aviation denied the rumor a day ago. Situation might have changed?

:)
Girl and Mookie just ran to the store for milk and bread and saw that as the headline in the English language newspaper (director denies airports will close for two weeks).
Mookie laughed and read it to girl, adding “yes, it will be closed for three weeks” :p
