This. Exactly this. It’s incredible that people don’t realize the government is for the people and corporations can f—ck themselves if we tell them to. God I hate what republicans have done to us.

It's incredible no one ever talks about that on the national stage.

Re: Covfefe-19 2020 part the second: Wash Your Hands

And how do you determine when it's safe to resume these things?

Heard an epidemiologist who specializes on epidemics and an epidemic historian interviewed about previous trends and now.
-If exposed the sx usually occur within 11.5 days so 14 day quarantine from last exposure is good
-if you are positive then they are finding it may take up to 8 weeks before OK. Let that sink in. 8 weeks. Think of all the asymptomatic people wandering about.

BBC had an excellent interview of one of the people who is involved in managing ICU supplies and equipment- guess what he was saying? The same stuff Wuhan said. They are overwhelmed with people who need respiratory support. They are concerned with having enough ventilators and ICU beds. Hmmm. Such a shock.

(Quote) 1. [From a friend at the Stanford hospital board. This is their feedback on Coronavirus:

The new Coronavirus may not show signs of infection for many days. How can one know if he/she is infected? By the time they have fever and/or cough and go to the hospital, the lung is usually 50% Fibrosis and it's too late...Taiwan experts provide a simple self-check that we can do every morning. Take a deep breath and hold your breath for more than 10 seconds. If you complete it successfully without coughing, without discomfort, stiffness or tightness, etc., it proves there is no Fibrosis in the lungs, basically indicates no infection. In critical time, please self-check every morning in an environment with clean air.

Serious excellent advice by Japanese doctors treating COVID-19 cases: Everyone should ensure your mouth & throat are moist, never dry. Take a few sips of water every 15 minutes at least. Why? Even if the virus gets into your mouth, drinking water or other liquids will wash them down through your throat and into the stomach. Once there, your stomach acid will kill all the virus. If you don’t drink enough water more regularly, the virus can enter your windpipe and into the lungs. That's very dangerous. Please send and share this with family and friends. Take care everyone and may the world recover from this Coronavirus soon. Please forward to your kids and friends.]”

My comments: it may help because the virus lands using the spike proteins on its surface. if you drink a big mouth and then swallow it with a special force, it may be more helpful.

2. A colleague at the University of Southern California said they have a faculty member who just came back from Northern Italy and went to attend their faculty meeting a few days ago. Now that person is in quarantine, and they now have their hearts hover at in their mouths.

3. UW Virology lab tested 450 samples yesterday, 13% are positive, which means the infected rate is pretty high, and presumably the number of people who got infected is not small.

The fibrosis comment is bizarre because none of the literature has mentioned this.

Yeah there’s a lot of recovery cases now which wouldn’t make sense if everyone had fibroids and it’s “too late”

Some of this has been mentioned as false information circulating- the water thing for one.

The sharp contrast between this thread and the D-1 thread is amazing.

Holy ****

The patient developed symptoms on Feb. 28 and was evaluated and released on March 3 based on symptoms at the time. Officials say the patient sought care again on March 9. Samples were sent to the MHD Public Health Laboratory and the test was found positive earlier Tuesday.

Re: Covfefe-19 2020 part the second: Wash Your Hands

I’m guessing they have an underlying condition

One of the races that is used for a warm up- the New Bedford Half Marathon- was just cancelled today. There are no cases in the County it is being held but there are enough people coming from other places they decided it was prudent.
