Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

I am not an Andy Sandberg guy but I love that show :D

Oh so do I. Just realized how my post reads. I mean that one of the characters calling out another for racism wouldn't be very funny.

And I'm in the same boat. Samberg is my last favorite. Lo Truglio, Crews, and most of all Braugher are awesome.

Pat Kessler on WCCO says the National Guard was not pulled out. They are being strategically placed and will be there to protect the fifth.

Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

This week. Have seen MANY officers and ex-officers say that "knee on neck" is NOT proper training, and this is NOT the way we want officers to behave. Source is various articles in the Mpls Star Tribune.

Rube it was too effing late for that and the reaction to this event is a no freaking brainer. "Hey that cop didn't shoot that black man for jay-walking. He showed so much restraint!". When has it happened while s**t was going down and during an actually volatile situation?

Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

Why are folks at another board making it sound like things tonight are just as bad as the last 2 nights? Reading here I'd get the impression things are far more calm.

If the NG are out what are they doing with respect to some of the riots?

Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

Holy crap someone replied to a Crimewarch tweet with Frey’s home address...and listed it as Jacob and his pregnant wife.

After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump

That was a tweet...by Taylor Swift

Minneapolis seems to be much calmer so far, but other cities not so much.

Yeah, and a bunch of her racist fans blasted her for it. Judging from her responses she didn't give one single eff.

During this volatile situation, there were only 3 other cops and they will probably be charged. Once the video was seen and digested, this situation was condemned universally. UNIVERSALLY. And that video came out rather quickly.

And I agree with you that MPLS, of ALL cities, are the most peaceful overall so far tonight. I find that odd, considering that the Guard hasn't done anything, and the curfew has been widely ignored.

Her people don't let her do anything controversial for obvious reasons. She must really be ****ed off.

Wells Fargo in the Fifth District on fire. CNN interviewing one of the rioters.

Rioter supports Jacob Frey

Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

They're claiming they are not rioters, they're just there.

Here comes the Guard or state police, smoke bombs and flash bangs going off.

I thought they left

God I miss having a real President.

Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

Btw CNN still marveling over the White People protesting and MSNBC just got done with their black friend.

**ahem**

DRINK!!!

Edit: MSNBC now has Joy Reid on so they don't have to do the Black Friend shtick for a bit.

Re: Cops 7: What Could Go Wrong?

To be fair, someone should routinely set Wells Fargo on fire every time they get busted running another scam. Maybe they'd learn.
