We don't seem to fault the big teams running up the score on small teams, why is it so bad when big teams do it to each other? We call that what's needed to be done for the BCS.

But if someone does it to USC or Notre Dame- it's all of a sudden evil?

Who's we? I'm not talking about generalities. I've clearly mentioned specific situations that happened TODAY. And perhaps you missed the part about me hating Notre Dame. Don't really care that it happened to them, just that you don't do certain things, period. There is no hypocrisy on my part.

And spare me the crap about taking Stanford seriously. They're ranked #16 in the country and were favored to win today.

Sorry- if Notre Dame requires the other coach to do something to not make them look bad, that's their problem, not the other team. You must play the entire game.

Jesus Christ, relax already. First of all, didn't see any of that game--so I have nothing to comment on. Again, I don't like Notre Dame--get that through your head. Where does sour grapes come into play?

Run up the score against anyone as much as possible, its supposed to be competitive, who cares if you hurt the other teams' feelings. If they don't like it, they can take up theatre.

Northern Illinois is going to beat the Gophers by more than they beat the Sioux. And the Sioux played at NIU and had a chance to win the game at the end.

With Toledo's win over Purdue, the MAC has more wins vs. BCS conference opponents than the Big East.

Exactly!!! Its not the coach's job to stop his team from scoring. Thats the other coach's job. And if that coach sucks, then well, his guys are going to get beat.

If it was an SEC game, ESPN would be falling all over themselves to praise these defenses having "monster" games. Predictably Kevin Riley doesn't do **** and we end up getting popped at the end. That ******* makes me long for the days of Joe Ayoob. Good god Stanford is going close down memorial stadium for renovations with an *** whupping of epic proportions. We need to chuck Riley and see what backup Brock Mansion can do. Shane Vereen needs some kind of passing game to free up room through the middle.
