Working class Catholic father from the 1920s. It was mandatory. Been with them all the way since 1974.

What did you think of the game?

I assured all of my Ohio State co-workers Notre Dame would cover the spread but beyond that I did not expect much more. Was pleasantly suprised by how well the defense was prepared and played. The offense though is hampered by a number of things. Inexperience at QB, and I suspect a lack of elite receivers. I also think that the OC is not a championship caliber coordinator and his shaky playcalling will cost this team as many points as an elite defense does. He will insist on forcing square pegs into round holes. If you have a championship level coordinator I could see foisting him on a first-time head coach, but Marcus Freeman should have been allowed to hire his own assistant coaches. Swarbrick prevented that.

Agreed on all counts. Rees is earning while learning, which you do at a directional school, not a top ten even if it's your alma mater.

Watch a game I'd enjoy seeing a team lose(Texas @ home against Alabama) or watch a game I'd enjoy seeing a team win(Arkansas @ home agin' So. Carolina)? Both on at noon.

Dear Texas,

I hate your team
I hate your state
I hope you all DIAF
I am praying for you to beat Alabama
