Your weekly preview for Cornell 2022:

Game 1
Sat 9/17 1:30
at VMI

Sagarin Ratings from 2021: Cornell (2-8) 221, VMI (6-5) 177.

My prediction: VMI by 11. I'll say 24-13. For those of you used to B1G football, we are almost incomprehensibly bad. It is entirely possible that the HS you went to could beat us.

Today Show doing a segment on how people are spending close to $1000 per ticket for some games this month. They should follow with a story about how Biden is hurting their wallets.

Lousy game lineup this weekend.

There's always the World Knife Throwing League on ESPNews.

Do the gophs have a legit team this year?

Maybe. Possibly. Hard to tell against the worst teams in college football. There was a time* not so long ago they'd lose to teams** like that though, so most are optimistic. Myself included.

*Last season
**Bowling Green, Illinois

It's the defense that will win them games this year. Plus what seems to be stacking up as a relatively soft schedule.
