Re: College Football 2015-16: The Big Ten Rises

What an awful week for Minnesota sports off-the-field. Let's hope getting out of the grind will allow him to lead a long, heathy life.

In terms of moving forward, I'd be okay with moving Claeys up permenantly and keeping the band together and seeing what they can do.

Re: College Football 2015-16: The Big Ten Rises

Gotta give Claeys the job, IMO. Jerry's been grooming him for 20 years. He's ready, and it will be as close to a seamless transition as possible.

This team is going to be motivated Saturday night. How can you not be after that?

That was a really rough presser to listen to. If there was a dry eye in the room, they have no heart.

That was heartbreaking.

Re: College Football 2015-16: The Big Ten Rises

Saw a headline on the Grand Rapids Press on Kill's retirement:

"Kill Suddenly Retires as U-M looms"

Made it seem like Kill retired because Minnesota is playing Michigan this week.

That's some shiitty journalism. Do you have the link or was it paper?

JT Barrett suspended one game for an OWI last night.

Apparently he's not subject to the OSU mandatory two week suspension for drugs and alcohol because it's just a misdemeanor. What kind of rule is that? So a felony is only a two week minimum?

LOL. "Talk to your children about an undefeated Iowa, before it's too late. "
