College Football 2015-16: Bowls, Playoffs, and Offseason

Re: College Football 2015-16: Bowls, Playoffs, and Offseason

If Clemson can stop Oklahoma from running the ball, they can win.

This is the key to the Clemson-Oklahoma matchup. Oklahoma's up-tempo offense has the potential to sap the Tigers' defense. Clemson has one of the best front 4 in all of college football, but have little depth.

Here's to hoping Clemson can pull it out today!

High risk vs reward play there. Worked out for Clemson.

BYOG...BYOG!

Losing Lawson is huge though. As I mentioned earlier, Clemson does not have much depth on the D-line...could be a bigger and bigger impact as the game continues.

Interesting sideline interference penalty. If they call that consistently, there might be 100 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in this game...yeesh.

If they want to kick assistant coaches out of the game for jumping around like complete dolts then hey, I am all for it...but that should not penalize the players.

EDIT - I am far from a football expert but I don't recall the B1G refs making that call this season.......but it sure doesn't surprise me. ;)

On the flip side, nice to see only a warning against Oklahoma's bench. I'm sure next time Clemson's bench does something similar, they'll stop the game and award Oklahoma the national championship right then and there...sorry Alabama and Michigan State.

Stupid play by Watson there to (basically) end the first half. Clemson had done a nice job of taking control of the game, but allowing a quick Oklahoma score, and then that turnover...tough beginning and end to the first half for Clemson. Here's to hoping that reverses in the 2nd half for the Tigers.

Re: College Football 2015-16: Bowls, Playoffs, and Offseason

Terrible throw there at the end of the half.

Yeah, you absolutely cannot make that throw. If you want to throw it there, it needs to be back corner by the pylon. That being said, if he throws it about 3 feet higher, Leggett makes that catch I believe.

Oh well...opening possessions in the second half will be key. If Clemson can score and then hold Oklahoma, I like their chances.

Re: College Football 2015-16: Bowls, Playoffs, and Offseason

Well, OU has done nothing since the half. This one is nearly over.

Re: College Football 2015-16: Bowls, Playoffs, and Offseason

If Oklahoma doesn't stick it in the end zone here, then yes, it's over.

Clemson INT about 1.5 seconds after I hit the "Post Quick Reply" button.

Say goodnight.

Would be interesting to see Alabama have to stop this running attack since it's not a traditional one.

A B1G school vs an $EC school in a bowl game....

What could possibly go wrong :p
