Sweet moment while they interview Fleck on the field. As he says "If you want to be a blue blood you have to beat blue bloods." you can hear "M-I-N-N-E-S-O-T-A" being screamed by the crowd.

The last time Cal played in a Rose Bowl was the day Castro took power in Cuba.

A few years ago, Cal honored its last Rose Bowl team during a stoppage in the Big Game. Cal's last Rose Bowl players were in their 80s and in the stands. Meanwhile, Stanford's last Rose Bowl players at that time were still on the team and on the field.

I could go on.

Stanford exceptionalism is an embarrassment to Harvard-Stanford exceptionalism, and Harvard exceptionalism sucks.

I'm amazed Cal hasn't had at least one period in which they paid their athletes as much as Oregon, UCLA or Stanford. (I get is with USC. No competing with that.)
