College Basketball ver Do Wedzenia Krzyzewski

So Creighton's path to the Final Four is now through Princeton and San Diego St. rather than Arizona and Alabama...I know there's no guarantees especially this late in the tourney but yes, I'll take that.

Down goes Bama. Aztecs to the Elite Eight.

Houston currently down 14 with eight minutes to go. Would be the first time with zero 1 seeds left for the Elite Eight.

Some ESPN talking head had this weird math formula deal he used to do his only bracket. He has Creighton winning it all. Over Xavier or UConn i think it was. Other final 4 team I think was Marquette or maybe Zaga. I can't remember. It was big east heavy.

Now if Miami can hold on all the 1s will be out.

My rooting interests moving forward:

1 - Creighton (because bluejays)
2 - FAU (because owls...I'm rooting for birds)
3 - Princeton (because 15 seed ivy would be awesome)
4 - SDSU (because not a power conference)
5 - Zaga/Xavier/KSU/Miami - because why not and for any of them it would be their first
6 - UConn (they have won enough and recently)
7 - Texas (even though I had them winning in the one pool I'm in; last because they will be associated with the SEC)

2 of these teams will make the Final Four and 1 will be in the title game.

Florida Atlantic
Kansas State
San Diego St.
Princeton
Creighton

Good news for CUSA: They have an NCAA Final Four team, two NIT semifinal teams, and the CBI champion.

Bad news for CUSA: All four of those teams are leaving next year for the AAC.

Good news for CUSA: All the NCAA tournament units FAU is earning stay in the conference.

After #15 Princeton upset #2 Arizona in the South region, one bettor at Caesar's saw a $150,000 wager on the Wildcats with the money line at -1200 disappear into thin air. The gamble would’ve cleared $12,500 in earnings.

An idiot is soon parted with his money

Well, that was an interesting ending.

Creighton gets called for a foul with 1.2 seconds left in a tie game. SDSU misses the first free throw, makes the second to go up 57-56. Creighton goes for the baseball pass and it's tipped out of bounds but then it goes to review for both time remaining and who would get the ball. Looks like there's 0.3 left when it hits out of bounds, but after review, they determine the clock didn't start on time and end the game.

If you call that foul at the end of the Creighton game, where the fuck was the whistle for the first 39:59 of the game.
