(NIT = National Invitational Tournament; at one time it was a bigger deal than the NCAA though not for many decades now).

This year, I'd prefer the NCAA 2nd round, considering we won the NIT last year and winning it two years in a row is sad in a way.

I've spent the last hour trying to fill it out. I finally got it, but couldn't make some picks I wanted. so that's my excuse. :)

does anyone know where I should log my time in our time reporting tool for this? :p

Not a major upset if it happens, but Bucknell has turned it up a notch against Butler...

Not sure how much sway the coach might have if $$ were involved, wouldn't the AD have final say? ...also don't know what kind of payouts the schools get for making it to either tournament. Were I the coach I'd probably prefer the NCAA second round since that probably resonates more with potential recruits and would help more with recruiting.


As a fan, I'm not sure, though I lean toward the NCAA myself, as many others have said, that (probably) indicates a more successful season overall in most instances.

When people say things like "ATM machine" or "PIN number" or "NIT tournament" I notice the redundancy annoys me for some reason, and so I certainly wasn't going to do the same thing myself!

I suppose I should try to find it humorous instead and shake my head and roll my eyes.
