College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

Did I really say "truly terribly"? Yeesh. That was supposed to say "truly terrible".

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

Wow, big win by the Badgers last night - Win AT bloomington over #2 Indiana.

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

Is it just a figment of my imagination, or did Duke really just get housed by 27 by Miami?

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

Nice to see Minnesota parlay their losses in to a full swoon. 0 for their last 4 games. Plummeting out of the top 25 I would guess, from their lofty #8 ranking in only 2 weeks. Nice job!

We aren't the only one to go on a losing streak. Louisville, a former #1 team, has now lost three in a row.

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

It would be a pretty amazing "family story" if Indiana makes it to the NCAA finals, as the Harbaugh sister is married to Indiana's head coach! :)

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

Notre Dame and Louisville now in their 5th overtime. This game started over 3 hours ago. 3 of Notre Dames starters fouled out. Several L'ville players with 4 fouls

Gameday got their moneys worth on this one

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

It was 60-60 at the end of regulation. Now 102-100 ND with about 1 minute left.

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

Still 102-100 ND with 24 seconds left. L'ville just missed 2 free throws and Irish to inbound ball after the L'ville timeout. This game has been tense.

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

Finally over. 104-101 Notre Dame.

Jerian Grant scored 12 points in the final 47 seconds of regulation to tie it. Including 3 treys that were not open clean shots.
Garrick Sherman comes off the bench in OT to score a huge, clutch 17 points.

I didn't see SC Top 10 Sat. Evening - was Ben Brust's 40 foot hail Mary part of the Top 10 Plays?

Re: College Basketball 2012-2013: The Year of the Big Ten?

MSU completely dismantled UM. The best basketball game I've ever been to atmosphere-wise.

Also, someone at Illinois is probably going to be fired.

Minnesota/Wisconsin game: Horrible refs. At home, you don't look for favorable refs. But at least don't be dead set against the home team. Mbakwe fouled...called for a travel. A Badger took like 7 steps and no call.

Uh first MN free throws with two minutes left in the first? Don't think so.
