College Basketball 2010-11: Headin' for Houston

Re: College Basketball 2010-11: Headin' for Houston

Now if only Kentucky and North Carolina can both lose in the late game, this tournament will be perfect.

Re: College Basketball 2010-11: Headin' for Houston

Don't bet against 11 seeds from Virginia!

(George Mason in 2006 being the other one.)

The best part of this is that VCU or Butler will take on Uconn/UNC/Kentucky in the National Title Game :eek::eek::D:D:D

Hahahahahaha.

The NBA sucks so badly, it's ruined the ability of Big 6 conference teams to dominate the tournament with their one and done draft rule.

Yeah they are playing with a lot of motivation right now.

They have a pretty impressive young coach. Hard to say whether he will stick with Butler or wind up at a more high profile school later down the road.

Re: College Basketball 2010-11: Headin' for Houston

The randomly-picked brackets in my pool have a chance of winning the whole thing. I guess there's 2 randoms left with a chance of winning, and only 1 human-picked bracket with a chance. If a random wins the whole thing, they get over $300 (regular winner PLUS best random). None of the above brackets are mine. :)

I shall not speak of the Marquette game ever again after this, but... 15 points at halftime? I wasn't sure it was mathematically possible to be down by 25 at the half. It was nice to see them keep it under 20 (with a 3 pointer from senior Rob Frozena, who never ever plays). I'm not too upset with the shellacking, as I never imagined they'd make the Sweet 16. I thought they might pull off one upset, maybe.

So Creighton's one game away from the coveted CBI championship. Beat Oregon (and former coach Dana Altman) in Omaha, just need to take one of two in Eugene.

I didnt even know this existed until like 2 days ago. Funny story, VCU won it last year.

I just saw a score update that said 58-54 Butler with about 4:00 to go in the 2nd half.....Should be a good finish.
