Check out the 'house poll' on ECAC player of the year... see the top listing on the Men's Division I page or check out the uscho ECAC blog... Chase Polacek is listed, is leading and the polls closes tonight shortly after 7 pm. ;)

Hope to see some folks at HFH on Friday night.

I liked it better when you got hammered at the roller derby and then posted. Complaining about refs is a time honored America traditon, it's like complaining about your wife and in laws.

Complain about refs enough and it hurts the team and gives the fans the aura of being whiners, which is where this is heading if it keeps up. Nothing more time honored than being known as the whiners of the ECAC...maybe we can take that title away from Cornell if we try hard enough.

I think that you misinterpreted that post the same way that I did at first. He wasn't saying that this weekend will be Hicks' last game ever at the HFH, but rather he was describing what happened at the last game that Hicks reffed at the HFH.

I highly doubt it, because they actually get their way. ;)

But in any case, how bout dem game on Friday? A little interesting fact: RPI is undefeated the game after playing to a tie.

Time off between projects is an amazing thing haha. The only reason Im posting during work hours these past few days. Your lucky to be able to post at work or wherever it is you post from during the day.

Just as long as the boys dont know it is friday we could be ok. However that hasnt helped us the last few times we wanted them to not know it is friday.

Game officials announced
The officials for the first two games have been set.

On Friday, the referees are Bryan Hicks and Chip McDonald. The Saturday refs are Kevin Graber and Tim Kotyra.

I could think of pairs that I would like a lot better. It certainly will be interesting to see how these games are called. I would imagine that Colgate fans have a list of officials that they are none too fond of also. This is the ECAC and inconsistency of officiating seems to be the rule.

We do. John Murphy, Peter Feola, Andy O'Brien, Chip McDonald, Tim Kotyra (the latter two we'll see Fri. and Sat. night) ...

And don't forget Eugene Binda, Jr. causing both Colgate's and RPI's pep bands to play 3 Blind Mice together back when these two teams met in the 2007 ECAC Playoffs...
