Agree. I think I liked it better when all we discussed was whether our band was supporting the team sufficiently. Here we go, this thread is going to become crazier than a Gadhafi interview. "They" are out to get us.
Any Time Warner coverage of the games ??

I think this is Hicks last game at HFH. 9 RPI penalities, 2 Harvard penalties (1 matching, 1 too many men on ice). FDude and my dear friend Fishcore, facts are stubborn things. See box score.

We've tabled that discussion in hopes of reintroducing debate in a week and a half when the team goes to Ithaca during spring break.![]()
Mr. Schott has reported the officials on his blog: http://www.dailygazette.com/weblogs...olacek-is-feeling-better-ready-for-colgate-o/

Can you please start calling me Mr. Aspydad? BTW- I hope Paul Stewart doesn't start beratting poor Ken for reporting the officials.
Ive been at every home game this year so just like FlagDude, I dont need to be filled in about what he has done. Im not the type to blame officials over a team winning or losing a game. I just refuse to go down that path when there was ample time to prepare your team to play and the team couldnt do what it needed to do regardless of who or what is out on the ice. Simple fact is that if our powerplay and offense in general doesnt get going and score when the chances arise then it might be a long series and an long offseason.
Well said. I would like to see more about the team and the upcoming games and less about the officials. The games will be won or lost by the two teams on the ice.
It would be nice to see and hear more cheers FOR the RPI team mixed in with some clever ridicule and derision directed at the opponents and much less directed at the officials. Pumping up the home team will have some positive affect, while constantly berating the officials can only turn them more against RPI.

You're definitely correct. I paid to watch the RPI Engineers, not the officials. As for the cheers, we do have plenty in our repertoire, however they are not commonly used, aside from members of the band. I think most of it is that either people don't know them, or they are thought as too stupid to yell out during a game.
Also in this report, he states that Chase is getting over a sickness and that most of the team is fine coming into this weekend. Other than the beginning of the season, have we had everyone on the roster healthy and able to play if called upon?

yeah, I suppose after the Arizona shooting the old "Two Four Six Eight who do we [redacted]" has lost whatever shred of humor it may ever once have had....
We could re-word it, however....
"Two four six eight, who do we defenestrate?" fits the rhythm and the rhyme....
and it fits the stereotype of engineers using sesquipedalian words as well!
