Just a reminder, Friday's game against St. Lawrence is an 8 PM start. If you live in the New England region, the game will be shown on NESN plus. I don't know about television coverage in central NY, but I wouldn't be surprised if Time Warner Cable does carry the broadcast on an auxiliary channel.

Apparently something called "ASN" is televising tonight's game. Does anyone know how to get this?...or if it will be streamed thru the Colgate website?...or on Directv?

New interior pics posted today (follow the link on the bottom left of the main Colgate sports page then the link below the live cam for those not familiar) - they've been loading in wallboard the last two-three days but beyond that the web-cam is pretty useless now

It should be streamed online for free. Check both the Colgate and St. Lawrence athletics sites just before puck drop.

I've looked all over for the American Sports Network...no luck finding it except Albany channel 2 maybe which I don't get. Can't find a webstream either

Voila! I can get WRGB via my old $68 rooftop antenna, so should be able to see the game. Thanks for the info Rain. Anyone with a rooftop in the central NY area, you might try rotating your antenna - you might pick it up. Otherwise maybe thru the Gate website.

Down 2-0. Doesn't look good so far. The so-called announcers are very entertaining though.

Throw out the first period and we played pretty well. Came alive in the second but having a short bench hurts us again in the third. We had our chances and some good looks but just couldn't get the bounce. Finn made some nice saves against a hard skating SLU team. 47 shots for us and we out faceoffed them....disappointing outcome.
Gotta salvage two points in Potsdam tomorrow night.

Yeah, they got pretty much every single thing wrong.
Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad SLU got this win, but I have to say Colgate absolutely earned two points with the way they played. Not only did they come in to Appleton and outwork SLU over the course of 60 minutes, they did it with basically three forward lines and they got stronger late in the game. Again, I'll take the points and run, but your guys deserved better. Go beat Clarkson.

Our first period was terrific, and Smolcynski's PPG was a beauty. But our team spent a lot of time in the second and third chasing. Colgate was fast and showed a lot of skill. I think Hayton stole one tonight.

Last three games we've either been ahead or tied at 2-2 and can't get a win. I feel sorry for them, they must be so frustrated, as I am. I guess we run out of gas with only three lines.

We've lost 3 in a row, all of them 1-goal games (or the winning team iced it with an empty-netter in the final minute). So we're not throwing in the towel. Only problem is, this season we've had an extremely short bench, so I'm not entirely confident that we can turn things around like we did in the 2010-11 season, even though we aren't playing poorly. As shabby stated above, we've been only rolling 3 forward lines, so I'm guessing Andrew Black and Derek Freeman are both hurt, since we've been only dressing 11 forwards and 7 defensemen.

I agree with everything Tim posted. With 4 solid lines we should have been able to chase you out of the building in the third. (Which is what I think happened down at Starr earlier in the year.) However, we chased you for two periods and when you should have been out of gas you weren't. Hayton did steal one for us. The kid is good.....it likely won't be the last time we say that.
Can't help but comment on "The American Sports Network." This is the third or fourth broadcast I have watched this year by these guys. The one studio guy is absolutely the worst host I have ever seen. It was comical coming back from break the one time where he wasn't at the desk and he rushed into the camera shot. The play by play guys are getting better as the season goes on but the whole broadcast smacks of an amateur production. After watching a Q Pac broadcast earlier in the year my neighbor texted me........ "Hey The Amateur Hour guys are on again!!" That about sums up their broadcast.
Good luck against Clarkson tonight.......you certainly deserved a better fate against us.
