I watched(very closely) Time Warners rerun of Saturday's RIT game last night, it must have been broadcast live in the Rochester area. I have to say I feel better now then I did before. I guess my biggest concern was being outshot so badly in both third period's over the weekend. Even being outshot our chances were more higher quality chances, we were much more talented and RIT's shots were kept more to the perimeter. We rang three shots off the post, the offense was there.

Lough and Corkey playing tremendous, Corkey has improved and by far is playing his best hockey of his Gate career. This weekend might be very interesting, give Finn some help, a few breaks, and stay outta the box.

Defending national champs. Gulp. Are we gonna get smoked, or do we have enough to knock them off at least once??:confused::confused:

I am looking for ties this weekend. There are weeks (last week) where ties would be disappointing but here, if we can get through the weekend without losing it'd be a win

For the 3rd year in a row, the defending National Champions visit Starr Rink. But this time, it's not an ECAC team. Let's make the school (and the league) proud tonight!

6' 3" - 220....looks like he will fit in our new goal at '65 arena. ;-)
 
Well, that was a stinker. All we can do is buckle our skates and hope for a better performance tomorrow night.

The question for me is if you put Finn back in there. At least 3 of those goals he should have had. Put him in there and try to get him playing mad with focus or give Racine or Hamilton a go? Its a tough call and glad I don't have to make it. Finn didn't look like he wanted to be there at the start of the third. Hopefully an off night, but with this game and Murcyhurst I am not real confident (and we have QU coming in next friday).

I sure hope last night was the clunker we got out of our system. Either that, or the Friars are really, really good. Go get 'em tonight!

The Friars can be that good and better it depends on which team shows up !!!! Last night the top line did nothing on "O" but the rest came to play, we will see what tonight has in store

Jankowski got an assist on a PP and that is it out of the top line. Just saying that Colgate game plan had to be to shut them down which they were able to do. Tough when a team's second line has a night like they did.

Wasn't rubbing it in...
