Colgate and Starr's last season

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

There is a Friendship Four blog on the Colgate men's hockey website. They have safely arrived in Belfast. GO 'GATE!!

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

I went to the Colgate Women's game today vs. Mercyhurst. I haven't been to a women's game in a long time and I was IMPRESSED!!! They are fast and talented!! They beat Mercyhurst today, giving their goalie a shutout.. 3-0. GO GATE!!

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

If anyone else is going to the games this weekend, I'm flying over to Belfast tomorrow morning on my incredibly short flight. Less than 30 minutes in the air maybe?

I'll need to make the suggestion that Colgate should schedule all of its games in equally convenient locations for me...

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our posters here! Looking forward to watching the game tomorrow and the football game Saturday.

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

Just a reminder, the game tomorrow is at 11 am on timewarner, some places say 4 PM. Also, the consolation is on Saturday at 11 am and the Championship game is being shown at 2 PM on channel 324 time warner in CNY.

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

Chris Wagner, who was claimed on waivers by the Avalanche, scored his first NHL goal last night. He had 4 shots as well.

Let's hope tomorrow starts a big turnaround for this year's team!

I am incommunicado for the holiday weekend. Shabby, Rainman and any others viewing the games, please report the good or bad news on the thread. (That goes for the football game too)

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

I just realized we have a potential problem tomorrow. If we beat Brown today we will play the winner of UML vs Northeastern at 2:00 tomorrow, the football game is on at 3:30 PM on ESPN3. This might be a first, having hockey and football on tv at the same time !

Today my Bruins and Rangers play at 1:00 so I'm going to miss some of it. What a travesty !:D

I have the same problem as you shabby. Watching 'Gate at 11, then when that game ends, switching to the Bruins.

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

OUCH! That hurt. Hopefully the team can get it together and give their school boys and other fans something to cheer about tomorrow. Go Gate.

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

Well, we had a lot of chances in the first, our offense is gone. The second period was our worst of the year. Time and time again the defensemen were just leaving one and sometimes TWO men alone in front. (even Lough) I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I don't think you can blame Finn today.

So I take it the Rangers lost :(

Reading this thread this AM gives me the impression we didn't show too well against Bruno. Guess I'm glad not to have witnessed it. Having this count in the standings is a bummer. Whoever came up with that idea?

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

Trying to think out of the box, let's put the defenseman as forwards and visa versa just for fun. Would be more entertaining than these games

Re: Colgate and Starr's last season

As hard as it may be after being outscored 12-1, hope the team enjoyed the trip and appreciate the tremendous experience Colgate has given them.
