To me, it didn't appear you suggested it was harder for the winning team in these one sided games.
I interpreted your comment to mean the blowouts were equally void of benefit for both the winner and loser. I would tend to agree with that. I'd also agree it would be difficult to maintain a high level of intensity when you're up by 10+ goals...which is the opinion I thought you tried to convey.I know these scores happen. It doesn't benefit either team. It may be more difficult to play with intensity when you are winning by a large margin. (And it is tough on the goalie)
