I guess what I was trying to say is that Ty welcomed the kid and found the spot, not that he made the NCAA thing happen. I just did not lay it out very well

Was at MSU's overtime win over St Cloud and 1-0 loss to UMass. Am a fan so the bias is obviously there, but they've met my expectations so far. Moravec and Murr look really good as freshmen, Morton seems to have picked up right where he left off when he got injured and Adam Eisele looks like he's taken a step. Need to work on the power play, and goal-scoring in general, but that was probably to be expected with all the roster turnover. In the end they'll probably go as far as the goaltending does. Tracy has been up and down and Rancier is just coming off injury.
 
Are we sure the review system was working? On consecutive nights it wasn't working during the msu series in North Dakota. Once on the "high stick" and once on a potential major penalty review.

Another good reason not to play in Grand Forks. Not to mention it's a 2 for 1.
 
This is from one of my relatives who is the parent of a student Athlete.

WARNING to Parents of Student Athletes: It appears that scammers have attempted to reach out to college athlete parents claiming that their kid has been apprehended and needs to post bond, suggesting Venmo or Paypal. The call comes in from the local jail's number. After several calls I was able to confirm that the jail doesn't even allow Venmo or Paypal for bond payment (only cash, certified check, or Western Union). And of course I could not reach my kid at the time, but did not make the payment. This morning we confirmed that our son was in his dorm asleep. Suspect the scammers are using the team roster to target out of town parents. Sharing so that no one else has the night that we had!"

The shared penalty box "helped" lead to this in 2002. Legend has it that Priewe (Air Force) was saying some rather disparaging things towards Udovich (Bemidji State) in the box, and Udovich looked up at the bench (the penalty box was between the benches at The Glas) and asked for permission to drop the gloves and he got it.

BGSU to st Thomas 9 hr 30 minutes
BGSU to BSU 13 hours
BGSU to MTU 9 hrs 9 minutes

in Atlantic Hockey
BGSU to Robert Morris 3 hr 30 minutes
BGSU to Canisiuis 4 hr 45 minutes
BGSU to Bentley 11 hours
BGSU to Air Force 19 hours

Notes. Travel is impeded in the UP due to bad roads starting in January.
No stops are considered even though you will have to stop every so often. Add 1 hour for all trips over 6 hrs long.
Winter time travel over the mountains to any eastern school will add significantly to travel time, especially on I 80. But also on the MASS pike or NY Thruway, on cold days roadway on I 80 is horrible.
Travel to any NYC or Boston area school is significantly impeded by heavy traffic, especially in the evening or with bad weather. So Bentley, Sacred Heart, Army, LIU, and to a lesser extent AIC, HC, add at least an hour just for traffic.
Travel time is assuming you can AVERAGE... 70 MPH. In the east, you can't. In the Midwest, you can. Tolls are not considered but are also not a small factor.
LIU was added because AH is not taking BG unless they also take LIU.
