I'll be the one laughing when iceblocks are flying and Norwich is on their way home at 8pm after their forfeit. My predictions are as accurate and serious as Dick Cheney when he is hunting quail. Now that the World Cup predicting Octopus is dead, people are turning to me for answers.

Although I would like to see a hard fought agressive game by both teams I don't want to see any player hurt on either team. All my hockey friends feel the same way, cann't understand what is behind the comment?

I am not a Norwich fan, but threats of ambulances and injuries is NO JOKE! That is just plain sick. Even the ice blocks/balls is nothing to be "JUST KIDDING" about.

Oh calm down. It was in reference to the norwich player stabbing the castleton player, which personally if that did happen, which is really hard to tell one way or another in the video, I would say that all the norwich players deserved to get theirs. CSC doesn't play dirty though, they play hard and fast.

Now you are really getting bad. You obviously have never been to a game with a serious injury, I have. The whole game turns sour at that point, for both teams. You are the one that needs to calm down and think about your comments before you post. I am sure your comments are not appreciated by the Castleton players either. Support your team, but do it the right way.

I really doubt the CSC players read the blog and I'm litterally just trying to get you rilled up which apparently worked. You can't take any jokes and obviously haven't seen any SNL skits before either. For you I will make this clear, cause apparently you still don't get it, I don't wish an injury on any Norwich or Castleton player tonight. I feel sorry for you that you take everything on this forum literally and personally. So enjoy the game tonight, whatever the outcome, its going to be a great game.

Just remember that joking about injury can come back to haunt you. And yes I have seen SNL and many times it is very funny and other times they also cross the line. By the way the skit about Plattsburgh with the former Gov. was funny and I laughed at that one as well as the comeback from the Plattsburgh Mayor. And yes good luck to both teams and honestly I do not know which way to pull, because either team winning or losing could either help or hurt Plattsburgh's dance chance! That smoke filled phone call will always be a mystery.

It's 4-1 after 2 periods with Norwich dominating in all areas of the game.
CSC changed goal-tenders after the 3-0 first period.
Ice looks very wet as online commentator reports that the arena has gotten very warm with the big sold-out crowd.

Pretty anti-climatic..Castleton didn't show me much at all. Norwich usually has a tougher time on those smaller rinks, but not tonight. Like the Cardinals, They are a work in progress.

So much hype on this game I watched it. When one team has a big line that does most of the scoring it seems like Norwich just shut that line down. I noticed against a tough opponent Harris and Stefan could do all that massive point accumulation. Castleton`s D needs some help

Back from the game, the Cadets really showed the Spartans that they have a ways to go yet. The speed of Norwich was just to much for the defense of Castleton to handle. Thomas went around their defense several times. Interesting that the coaches got into it a little after the game. The Spartans took a couple of runs at the Cadets late in the game that set coach off. I had to agree with him that there is no place in the game for behavior like that when the final score is a given. Great night for Norwich and their fans.
