Cars: 2015

As Wally said, the culprit may just be low fluid level in the reservoir. This can be easily checked by just opening the hood. The reservoir will have a line on it and if the fluid level is around that line, it may simply be the fluid sloshing around while the car is in motion. A bottle of Brake Fluid will be like $5 and will easily top off the reservoir if it's low.

Had my partner come over and take a look. It was the brake fluid.

Did they say if they were concerned with a possible leak? My wife had her brakes replaced, and asked about the brake fluid. They replied that it was a closed system, and there shouldn't be any fluid loss nor degradation. That surprised me, and I plan to look into it sometime here.

After having to add fluid 3 times in the past month, my partner and I are now looking for a slow leak.

I had a brake piston seal (something to do with the piston on the caliper) blow at 70 mph. I mention this because you should check the pistons too.

That's not a fun feeling when your brake pedal goes all the way to the floor with no resistance.

I will avoid buying an Interstate battery any time soon. When I bought my CRV in August 2023, it came with said battery. The battery had a manufacturing date of February 2023, and it completely died on Thursday. The battery had a 24 month warranty, and they nailed it.

Seeing a Huracán in Minnesota is rare. An LP 640-4 Performante is ridiculously so. IN THE FRIDLEY MENARDS PARKING LOT? Had to pinch myself.

Right? Saw a ‘22 NSX at the St Louis Park Lunds & Byerlys, but that makes a lot more sense. You’re close to Edina and it is worth close to $200K less than this beast.
Right. Like on highway 36 between GDO and Stillwater, I expect to see at least a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or McLaren at least once per summer.

I wouldn’t expect in north St. Paul.

I was driving home on 35E today, and saw a Cyberbrick with giant stickers spelling “TOYOTA” on its tailgate, for want of a better term. It must be the owner’s attempt at camo.

Maybe it's Menard himself checking out one of his stores...

I once saw a Maserati at a BJ's Wholesale Club. I figure these people blew money they really didn't have on these cars, so go austerity everywhere else.
I live near Southview Country Club, drive past it frequently as it’s on a main road. That particular country club is very exclusive, originally founded by the richest X number of families in St. Pau for their private use, but membership has grown over the years based upon the changing list of wealthiest families in the Twin Cities. The parking lot is a good distance away from the road, but it’s not large. With the brief glimpse of that lot each time I pass it, I usually see upper-end trims of production line cars, along the size of Toyota Highlanders, Honda Pilots, some Audis or cars of that nature. What I never see are the Maseratis SUVs, or anything that would cost more than $100k.

Meanwhile, Mendakota Country Club is the standard layers and sales reps. My FIL has a membership there, and when I’m along for a meal, I find it interesting to note what the wealthy people drive vs. what people who want to appear rich drive.

Prior to meeting me, my wife briefly dated a guy who drove a Benzo but only made low-level six figures. He was overextended in every way.

Funny you mention that. I just read the other day how most (non famous) wealthy people never display their wealth. It's one of the reasons why they became wealthy in the first place. While the wannabes need to show off their façade.
